Discounts on advertising - All chamber members get a 50% discount off the first ad with us and then 10% off every display ad that you run after that. Sign up for a 6 ads, you'll receive two 1/2 price ads; 12 ads, we'll give you three 1/2 price ads. These ads go to 100% of the area. The 10% discount will continue as long as you are a chamber member. The chamber discount is in addition to frequency discounts for which you qualify. We also offer a free business spotlight when you advertise 6x or more.

Free seminars - The Valley Journals offers free seminars that help businesses market and advertise better. As a chamber member, you are welcome to attend any of our regularly scheduled seminars or we will schedule a one-on-one meeting just for you. There are eight to choose from.

This year's favorite topic? "Greater Customer Service - Inside Reality vs Outside Perception" You may have put together a great company but if your customers don't know all that you can do, how can they use all that you offer. Also see how others view your company and how you can improve that outside perception. Call to reserve your space or to find out about the other seminars we have.

Free Business Directory listings - The residents of our local communities want to find local businesses. They are using our Business Directory to find these businesses. All businesses have a free business listing courtesy of the city. These include company name, address and phone number. When a business claims their listing, they can add a descriptive paragraph, key words for people to find them and if they belong to the chamber (or other approved organizations), they can have the logo on their listing (that will link to the chamber website). The organization logo must be approved before it goes live.

Free marketing newsletter - Once a month, our publisher puts out a newsletter that helps business people succeed through marketing and advertising. These ideas are not just about our products and services. Some of these are about advertising. Others are about smarter marketing. This newsletter is free and available to all who request it. Talk to any of our marketing consultants to enroll.

Free "Expert Advice" column - Business owners are professionals that can share insight with those that don't know their industry well. These articles appear on our website in "Expert Advice" under subheadings based on the topic that they cover. Ask how you can become the "expert" in your field.

Free Business Brief - Business Briefs are printed in your local Journal and put online for those businesses that have something great to say about themselves. Examples: Grand opening, won an award, moved, new personnel, added a new line of products, new owners, added a new doctor, opened a new location, etc. Must be news-worthy. No offers allowed. 50 words max.

Free Video Emails - For chamber members, I have arranged to get everyone a free account to be able to send video emails out to your customers. Normally this is $10 per month but not to chamber members. Simply go to tvj.iwowwe.com/free-video-email.html. This account gives you 5 free video emails per day.
