Networking and Building Relationships
If you want to get your services or products in front of prospective customers, the best way is networking. It will increase your business' clientele, with minimal monetary investment. South Jordan Chamber of Commerce offers many networking opportunities where members can meet with the decision-makers in this area and develop lasting business relationships. Check the online calendar for location information.
Monthly Luncheons
The chamber hosts a luncheon on the first Wednesday of each month at various local venues. Speakers present on relevant and interesting topics. Networking takes place until noon, at which point the presentations begin. A special networking table is set up to display members' materials to be distributed. This is a great opportunity to meet other members. The cost is $15 with an RSVP or $20 for late RSVPs and walk ins. RSVP before the deadline to reserve your spot.
Leads Lunches
Leads is our networking group of members promoting their businesses. Leads Lunches are Wednesdays (except first Wednesday) from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at a local restaurant. The only cost is $10 at the door. That includes your meal, unlimited drinks and tip! Bring business cards to hand out and have a "30 Second Commercial" ready for your business. A presentation is conducted by a chamber business and members have the option to be a presenter. Join in on the weekly fun!
WIB
WIB stands for Women In Business and is a professional and personal development group especially for women. A monthly luncheon is held every month. Luncheons are from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at rotating locations. Joining WIB is an additional $40 that is not included in a chamber membership. The chamber provides numerous endorsements for chamber members. Take advantage of these opportunities to expose your business to other members.

Tabletop Marketing
Members have the chance to promote their businesses to attendees at Monthly Luncheons. They are provided with a table to display materials and two minutes to "tabletop market" their business. Must be pre-registered.
Ribbon Cutting and Groundbreaking Ceremonies
Ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies provide extensive publicity. These events are announced through the website, monthly newsletter, and weekly e-newsletter. Sam's Club brings a scrumptious cake and the chamber provides the ribbon and enormous scissors. The ribbon cutting picture is placed in the South Valley Journal, which is delivered to over 29,000 businesses and residents in South Jordan, and the surrounding communities of Riverton, Bluffdale, and Herriman.
New Move In Packets
These are bags filled with promotional items from our members that are distributed to new residents of South Jordan. Chamber members provide advertisement pieces to include in them. The advertisement can be anything that is regular paper size or smaller - coupons, brochures, magnets, pens, or anything else you can come up with. The packets are distributed to new South Jordan residents as they set up their utilities at City hall. This is a fantastic way to introduce your business to new community members.
Chamber Councils
Members can join one of our many councils, which include: WIB, Government & Economic Affairs, Small Business/Education, Membership, Public Relations, and Events. There is sure to be a council that fits your interests and needs. You will be able to meet other members in the chamber and build relationships. Not only that, you will be helping the chamber grow.
