Matthias grew up in a small rural town in Central Utah. He is the 2nd oldest of 7 children. He began his education in Accounting and Finance at Snow College. After taking time away from school for a 2-year service mission for his church, he finished his Associates Degree at Snow College, and moved to the great city of Logan Utah to attend Business School at Utah State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  “I never wanted to be a traditional accountant, but I love business and wanted to understand the money aspect of the business. My real passion is helping people.”

Matthias has a great passion for helping individuals and families achieve financial success. Matthias has worked in the Mortgage Industry for over 15 years where he continues to help families purchase homes, and he's owned his own insurance agency since 2012.

Matthias is a huge fan of shorts and flip-flops and believes life should be enjoyed at all times, regardless of your circumstance. Happiness is a choice. Matthias currently lives in South Jordan with his wife and 3 kids.
